Writing the Weight.

Writing the Weight is a four-week online poetry circle exploring the emotional landscape of care… how love, labor, and loss coexist in daily life.

We’ll gather once a week to write, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves through language and shared attention. Each session centers on a theme—love, labor, loss, and the art of holding it all—inviting us to notice what we carry, what we let go of, and what still wants to be named.

This winter’s circle is intentionally small—more intimate than I usually offer—to allow space for slower conversation and deeper connection. It’s also priced lower as a soft return to this work, a way to begin again together.

You don’t need to be a poet, just someone drawn to explore the quieter layers of care, identity, and creativity.
